Tuesday was a really bad day from beginning to end. I won't get into detail, but it just sucked. So, I decided yesterday morning while I was running , that I was going to challenge myself and do something that I was afraid to do. I have been wanting to make contact with the big REO agents in town, but have been putting it off because I was afraid. Up until yesterday, I was just faxing the offers in, without first meeting the agents. There are about 4 agents who have the majority of the REO listings, from what I can tell so far. I scheduled an appt with one yesterday at one of the homes he has listed. We met at the house, and had a nice talk. I'm putting an offer in on his property as soon as I'm done making this post. This morning I met with another one of the big agents, and had a nice talk with her as well. I told her my strategy- that I make low offers and most don't get accepted. I'll be putting in an offer on that property today as well. There are 2 other agents that I want to meet today and tomorrow. I don't know why I made such a big deal out of doing this.

I'm going to look at another property at noon. It's a probate property that's been listed forever. I will be making an offer on that today as well.

Oh, guess what? The deal I've been working on is closing!! Halleluiah! (did I spell that right?). It's about friggin time. It should be tomorrow or Monday.

That's about it for now. Going to go check out that property now, then come back and put some offers together.
