Craigslist is really starting to piss me off. Actually, that's not accurate- Craigslist isn't pissing me off- the people who frequent Craigslist are really starting to get under my skin. For example, this guy Tim keeps sending me the same annoying email for every ad I have on CL:
................................................................................................................
Hi! I'm emailing about your wholesale deal. Is it still
available?

I have many landlord investors and rehabbers that would
love to make cash offers on your wholesale deal(s).

Because I run an online real estate investors association
that provides pre-foreclosure and wholesale deals to
investors nationwide, I have many out of town investors
that will typically pay more for wholesale deals than the
usual local investors.

To get cash offers on your wholesale deal(s) from my
investors, please post your deal here
http://www.iwillkeepspammingyounomatterhowmanytimesyoupolitelyaskmetostop/

It's FREE to post.

Or if you'd like for my assistant to post the deal
for you, please email her at http://www.iwillkeepspammingyoutoountilyougiveinandpostyourdealonourcrappywebsite/

Thanks,

Tim

Hey Tim, you must be a real big shot, with your assistant and all. Congratulations. I bet you drive a Hummer, too. I bet it's the biggest kind that wastes the most gas. I appreciate the fact that you are actively promoting your website, but I'm pretty sure I indicated in my ad that, "It's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests."

Normally, I wouldn't get so worked up about something like this, but it has been going on for several weeks now, and I am really starting to get annoyed. Each time I get an email from this guy (which is every time I post an ad, which is often), I send a polite email asking him to please quit spamming my ads. Apparently his assistant is not giving him the message(s). Maybe he needs to pay her more.

And then, there is the never-ending barrage of "cash-out" buyers asking me to jack the price of the house up a million dollars or so, and give them the difference at closing. It's OK, though, and perfectly legal, because their realtor friend who drives a really nice car and lives in a really big house, told them so. Also, it is on the HUD. Well, not the real HUD, but the jacked-up fraudulent HUD the bank sees. Same difference. Also, the title company and the appraiser, and their friend Slim Shady who just made 3 million dollars doing cash-out deals who is living in Mexico now with his stripper girlfriend Destiny because he is now wanted by the FBI, all say it is legal. So it must be.

And, last but not least, are the "investors" who can't just pick up their friggin phone and call me (using the number that is posted in the ad) about the house I have for sale that they are supposedly interested in. The emails read something like this: Hello, My name is Juan Valdez, and I am an investor who is VERY interested in your home. In fact, it is just what I have been looking for for the past five years, and I must have it now or my head might explode. Please go to http://www.iamajoker.com/ and fill out the 15 page property questionnaire, and I will get back to you within 24-48 hours. 72 at the most. Keep in mind that I want your house SO BADLY that I might spontaneously combust if I don't buy it. Speak soon, Juan Valdez. P.S. Do you know what cash-out deals are? Just wondering. My cousin says they are all the rage.

Sheesh.

OK, I'm done complaining now. Perhaps I'm just a little edgy because my electricity is about to get shut off.
