The bartending gig Saturday night made me remember once again why I HATE waiting on people. Especially snotty, high maintenance, rich people. If it wasn't my friend's deal, I most likely would have told a couple people to fuck off and then high tailed it outta there. You'd have thought the world was coming to an end when the Grey Goose ran out and people had to drink Stoli instead! Can you imagine the horror? Stoli is sooooo low class.
The evening came to an abrupt, awkward end when the very drunken host of the party started making out with his 20-something secretary in front of God and everyone, and then his WIFE walked into the room.
Nothing like a little adultery to liven up the party.
Well played, Peter.
Anywho, not much going on on the real estate front. My Mom told me yesterday that I'm not allowed to bring any work home with me, so I guess I should not be making any more offers before I go.
Well, maybe one or two, but that's it.

Fun times!!!!
Wow, the wife walked in??? That's hilarous!!! Not very smooth either...
So your not allowed to take work home over the holidays huh? Yeah right! I keep telling myself that I am going to take some days completely off, no real estate, no thinking about real estate... never works. I know I need to turn it off, just have a VERY hard time doing that.
Yeah, the wife walked in and saw the whole thing. It was pretty sad, actually.
No real estate for one week- that's the plan, anyway.
Just my two cents:
You said you wanted to get away from this life style. Apparently you have because it has left a sour taste in your mouth!
Coming from a former server/bar tender background, I feel your pain. The good news is you don't "need" to endure bar tending unless you want to. Your real estate conquests are paying off nicely.
Thanks Clifford,
I'm definitely done with that whole scene, thankfully.
