I got a counter today on one of the properties I offered on Monday. Another 10k reduction by the bank. The house is right on the outskirts of my farm area, and I've had my eye on it for awhile. It was under contract for the longest time, and it just came back on the market over the weekend. It's listed at $73,000, I offered $55,000 and the bank came down to $62,000. I'm pretty sure the reason no one else is bidding on it is because it is listed as a 2/1, and it is really a 4/1. Hehehe. Makes a big difference. I called my buyer who has bought 2 properties from me in this area, and he said he won't be ready for another for a few weeks. He's going out to look at it anyway, so we'll see. I just countered back at $58,000, and I think I will market it for somewhere in the 64-69k range. It's really not in that bad of shape, except it needs a new roof, and there is a hole in the ceiling in one of the bedrooms from water damage. Other than that, it really only needs paint and carpet if someone wants it as a rental. When I called back to counter, the listing agent told me they want to make the closing date 3/1 instead of 2/18 which is what I had in my offer. This might give my buyer enough time to finish what he's working on. I hope so.
Off topic here, but this has been bothering me all day. I had this dream last night that I had grapes growing out of my head. Red, seedless grapes. I'm not kidding. They would grow one at a time out of the back of my head, and then I would pick them and eat them. It was so gross that I almost threw up when I woke up. I'm about to puke just thinking about it.
Over and out.

"Grapes
To see grape vines in your dream, signifies your achievement to a prominent position giving much happiness to others. It is a symbol of opulence, wealth, and decadence.
To see or eat grapes in your dream, represents wealth and prosperity. Your hard work will pay off and you will soon receive the rewards for your labor.
To dream that you are picking and gathering grapes, signifies profit and the realization of your desires."
Sounds about right doesn't it Steph? EXCELLENT JOB! I am one of your biggest fans...
There may be a powerful metaphor in that the grapes grow out of your head. I'm serious. Sort of. :-)
It could be interpreted as "you grow your own ideas from a fertile mind."
You're independent and self-reliant.When you need nourishment you grow it yourself.
Or.... it could mean too much cheap wine before bed!

I'm not sure what the dream meant (if anything), all I know is that it was really disgusting.
Not sure if I can eat grapes anymore.
Wine's a different story, however....
I like the other guys ideas about success, but my first thought is that it might have something to do with your dislike of your recent trip to the stylist. Maybe?
That thought crossed my mind, too, Jason. I don't hate my haircut that bad, though. :)
As I was reading this, I am eating green grapes!
I think you should purge this grape fixation by drinking lots of wine. It always helps me! :)
