2/18/2007

I decided I wasn't going to let the weather get the best of me, and went and put out 10 signs tonight. Not a lot, but better than nothing.

I called the seller back of the property I got under contract and told her there was no way I could give her the $120k because the repairs were much more than I had factored in. I told her I would still make some calls to see if I could find anyone interested. I called a couple investors that advertise in the paper down there. I left a message with one (never called back), the other told me he would call back either way and let me know what he thought (never called back). I know I have rambled on about this before, but I find it really hilarious that people go through the expense (time and money), to advertise, and then don't answer their phone or don't return calls. I run into this every single day, and it never ceases to amaze me.

I went to Borders today and bought an audio course by Brian Tracy- "The Ultimate Goals Program." It is really good so far. I need to get into the habit of writing my goals down every day and really focusing on achieving them. Every self-help book/course I've ever had has emphasized how important it is to do this, yet for some reason, I never keep up with it. That is about to change starting now.

I have made some other lifestyle changes in the last few weeks that I know are going to help me get to where I want to be a lot faster. I am done screwing around. I am going after what I want, and I am not letting anything (including myself) get in the way.
