I finally found out what I will be getting from the townhouse. I will get a check for $12,800. I have to pay 2k to my friend who helped me with the rehab, so I will get a little over 10k. The closing is in 2 days (Weds). I am totally getting ripped off, but I have already put it behind me and am over being angry. I need the 10 grand right now, and I am happy to be getting out of here.

I am in moving hell right now. My friend who was going to help me fell off of a ladder a few days ago and shattered his heel (he has to have surgery) , so I am pretty much doing everything by myself, which isn't fun. I guess I'd rather have to deal with moving than a shattered heel, so I should not complain about it too much.

I haven't had any time at all to do any marketing. I have a few leads that have
come in over the last few days, but just haven't had the time to follow up.

I got paid a couple of days ago from a referral I gave to another investor. $435 for doing about 15 minutes of work. Not bad. I should be getting a check for $1200 this week or next week from the mortgage guys for some leads I sent them last month. It's not a ton of cash, but it adds up, and it was easy to do.

Once I get moved I am still planning on going to the Keys for a vacation. That will probably be the end of this week, or maybe next week.

I really wanted to go to Steve's bootcamp, but it doesn't look like I am going to be able to. I have my Sister's bachelorette party in Vegas in a couple of weeks, then am flying to St. Louis for the wedding a few weeks after that. I just won't be able to swing it financially.

Once I get moved, I am going to start marketing like crazy again.

I am staying with a friend for a little while until I find a good deal on a house for myself to move into. I will be cutting my monthly expenses by more than half, so that will be a lot less stress to have to deal with. Until I figure out a way to be getting deals on a consistent basis, I want to make my monthly expenses as little as possible.
