First day wasn't so bad. Spent some time learning the Realeflow software, and that was about it. There is another guy who got hired for sales, and I got to meet him today. He's going to be handling the short sale properties- listing them on mls and so forth. It's kind of funny- we are both ex-bartenders, and both have a similar story.
I spoke with the mortgage guys today to get an update on the sub2 deals I sent them. Apparently they have a buyer for one of them, and the other two they are still working on. I don't get my hopes up anymore when they tell me they have buyers. I will believe them once the money is direct deposited into my bank account. Until then, I'm just writing this whole sub2 "project" off. One thing is for sure, I certainly am not wasting any more time finding new deals for them until I get some ca$hola.
I was going to go over to the 85k house this weekend and just knock on the door and ask the tenants if I could get some pictures of the inside, but I changed my mind. I don't want to ruffle any feathers in any way on this deal, so I am just going to wait until Tuesday or Weds. and meet the seller there like we had planned. The waiting is killing me, though. I want to get this thing sold, get the cash, and move on to the next. Patience is a virtue. One which I do not possess.
I may have a buyer already for one of the deals the guy I'm working for has. I put up an ad on Craigslist this afternoon,(have I mentioned how much I love Craigslist?), and had a call within 2 minutes. The guy who called has done a few deals with a buddy of mine, so I know he is a real buyer and not just wasting my time. He's supposed to go check the house out tomorrow. We shall see.
So, I guess I will go ahead and jinx myself by saying this for the third time in less than 3 months.....
I really feel like things are going to start turning around for me. I have 3 deals in the works right now, and I would certainly hope that at least one of them will work out.
Wow, I just had deja vu.
Tomorrow I am going to Orlando to see the Blue Man Group. Should be a good time.
