The guy who I got an email from last night about the property I am marketing is apparently not interested. I think he was not wanting to put one single penny into the deal (including a deposit). Oh well. I have another potential buyer for the same property who had a friend email him the listing I put on CL this morning. He is living in Key West and is looking for a historic rehab in Tampa to work on when he comes back up here. He told me he would call and let me know by noon tomorrow if he is interested or not. Not holding my breath, although he did seem pretty interested.
This week is going to be a pretty big week for me. I should find out for sure if the mortgage guys are going to close on that sub2 deal, and also should hopefully be able to wrap up this 85k deal that I have been working on for several weeks now. It would also be nice if one of the buyers came through for the property I have been marketing for the investor I am working for. Potentially, this could be the week that allows me to get back on my feet. It has been a long time coming, that is for sure. I'm not sure if I can handle another rash of deals kicking the bucket. It probably sounds ridiculous, but I am almost afraid to be hopeful about things working out. I have been in this same position so many times this year, where I have been on the verge of doing well, and then everything always goes wrong at the last minute. It has been pretty difficult, and I just hope things come together this time around.
I'm fairly certain that my computer is about to implode. I'm not kidding. It has been doing some really odd things the last couple of days (more so than usual). I keep getting these random error messages, and my email has decided to pick and choose which messages it wants to send and receive. It's pretty frustrating.
Man I hope this week is a good one.
