Yaaaaaayyy!!! The 85k deal is finally closed!!! After some hiccups yesterday, we finally got the payoff from the mortgage co. and were able to close today!
So, I met CC face to face today, which I was really looking forward to (out of morbid curiosity). I had this picture in my mind of what she would look like, and I have to tell you, I was pretty much dead-on (down to the color of the SUV that I knew she would be driving). She was very polite and all, but holy crap, this lady scares the shit out of me. I'm not kidding. This was the first time in my entire life (that I can remember, anyway), that I was not able to look someone in the eye while talking to them. Seriously. It's kind of hard to put into words, but she just scares and intimidates the hell out of me. Although she did come through with the 89k cash, and closed ahead of schedule, I'm pretty sure that this is the last time I will be doing business with her. I don't want to go overboard here, but I think there is a small chance that she is possessed by the devil. And just for the record, I'm a pretty good judge of character.
OK, enough of that crazy talk, let's get back to how HAPPY I AM RIGHT NOW!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOO!!!!! I CAN PAY MY BILLS!!!!! YAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!! I DON"T HAVE TO SELL MY SOUL AND GET A BARTENDING JOB!!!!!!!! What a fucking relief. (Excuse the language).
Not sure if I mentioned this prior, but if I didn't get this deal closed today, my bills would start bouncing all over the place starting TOMORROW. I'm about to get a BUI (blogging under the influence), so I will not get too sappy here, I just have to say, that it has never been more evident to me that I am not out here on my own.
i think the celebratory bottle of cab is catching up to me...
