Got some more good news today- one of the deals that I was marketing for another wholesaler sold last week to a buyer that I found. The wholesaler called this morning to tell me he's got a check for me for $500. Not a bad payday considering all I did was make a few phone calls. I'll take that all day long.
My plan for the day was to sit down and come up with several goals I would like to achieve by the end of the year. I have completely lost focus the last few months, mostly because it is extremely difficult for me to focus on much of anything when I am constantly worried about going broke. So, now it is time to regroup, and make a huge push forward. I am going after mls properties with a vengeance, with the goal of wholesaling 2 by the end of the year. As I mentioned in a prior post, I am also going to keep marketing properties for other investors.
The strangest thing happened to me today (not real estate related). While I was driving to Starbucks, I saw a hand-written bandit sign on the side of the road advertising karate classes. That got me to thinking that I want to start taking karate again- I started taking classes several years ago, and was getting ready to get tested for my yellow belt when I tore my ACL (holy shit that hurt). I've always wanted to go back, but have not found the time to do so. So, anyway, I get to Starbucks 5 minutes later, and as I'm sitting at a table enjoying my pumpkin spice latte, I look up and see this guy staring at me. I shit you not, it was my sensei from a few years ago! As it turns out, he's teaching classes at USF, which is right around the corner from me. So, looks like I'll be starting up again in the next week or so. I can't wait.
