Flip This Wholesaler

I didn't get a chance to do much marketing today because I had some other stuff going on.

I was contacted today by a guy who wants to bird-dog for me. I'm pretty excited about it. It will be nice to have another set of eyes/ears to look for properties. He was previously working for another investor, but told me the guy never followed up on any of the leads he gave him.

I was also put in contact today with a guy who owns a mortgage company. I am meeting with him tomorrow to discuss the possibility of me finding deals for him. He is looking for deals for his clients that have 15-20% equity!!! I can find those deals for him all day long. This would be an awesome extra source of income for me, as I pass on deals like this every single day!! I'm not getting my hopes up yet, but it sounds like it could be a great opportunity. Even if it's only a $500 finder's fee, it would be really easy money for me. Almost like stealing.

I was reading some posts on the flipponghomes.com newsgroup today that made me decide to take a different approach regarding the advertising I'm using to sell my stupid piece of crap townhome. I put an ad on Craigslist today offering a year's supply of Jolly Ranchers (Watermelon or Sour Apple only) to anyone who gives me a full price offer on my house. I got 5 emails from this ad, and have 1 guy coming to see it Friday, and one guy coming Saturday. I'm not making this up, I swear.

Tomorrow I need to do a lot of marketing since I slacked off today.
