Well, it's Friday already. How did everybody do with their weekly goals?
I'm kind of embarrassed to admit this, especially since I'm the one who started this whole thing, but I pretty much failed miserably on my end..
I was supposed to complete an outline for a call that I'm doing with Steve, and also find two new buyers in an area of Tampa that is right around the corner from where I live....
I am halfway done with my outline, but didn't get very far with the buyers. I was going to put a bunch of signs out during the week, but got totally sidetracked with 2 of the deals that I am working on (one of them, the buyer backed out after he saw what the house was listed for, so I have to scramble to find another buyer). First time that's ever happened. Good times...
I guess I still have until the end of the day though, don't I?
I better get crackin'.....

BAD Steph!
I did pretty good- made it to the gym all 5 days, and found not one but 2 title companies.
Go get your stuff done, Steph.
Steph, technically you do have untill 12:00 tonight!
I accomplished mine as well. I hit the gym 3 times and finished my course as of 12:00 last night. Im ready for next week!

I haven't finished mine yet, but I have two houses that are for rent in mind though. I just need to drive by them on the way home and get the phone numbers. I will have it done this weekend. My goal timeline is from monday to sunday :P

I've decided that my wholesale marketing focus would be on probates. Based on my internet research, (real estate forums)this market is not as tapped into and it would be a good niche as a South Florida wholesaler. What do you think?

Hi LaToya,
I think that is a great plan and will work out well for you if you are committed to stick with it through the learning curve.
It's easy to get sidetracked when you are just starting out, esp with all of the gurus throwing crap in your face on a daily basis.
Just stay focused and persistent, and you will do just fine.

Goal was to get up at 7. I did it one day. It felt good when I did, so that will give me some motivation for next week.
Goals for the week
-Get the buyers for my 2 current deals committed with earnest money and closing dates scheduled.
the buyer for one deal ended up falling through, so I'm scrambling to find another buyer
the second deal has a ton of issues with the title work which we are still working on getting fixed...could take a while
-Generate 20 leads for one tier of my affiliate marketing
Generated 23 and counting...
-Workout every other day.

-Call all my recent RE leads and make offers or referrals on each lead.

Nice blog ! I'm in Miami however Ive been focusing my efforts in the DFW area Texas, my buyers list is massive and growing 5-10 everyday...small problem not enough deals to keep up with them. Putting tons of offers in on REOs once accepted I shouldn't have a problem moving the property in 36 hours or less. Goals would definitely get some more properties under contract and JV some other peoples deals. Also working on my affiliate marketing generating steady sales daily.

Hey Steph! My timeline goes until Saturday so I still have several hours left but it doesn't look like I'll get all 5 offers out! It's not for lack of trying though! I'm still waiting for a couple listing agents to get back to me after multiple attempts at contact so I can actually go and see the house prior to making my offers. They are moving so slow its like they don't want to sell the suckers! I have 2 out now and will likely have 3 by the end of the day since I have a property to visit today. Grrr....I'll keep pushing!
I got two out of the four short sale packages done and signed. I also got the Scope of Work done for the fire damaged three family we will be buying... so I guess I came pretty close!

Steph, I failed in my goals. I will try to double up on offers this week to make up for the offers I didn't make last week!
I'm a little late finishing up, but I accomplished what I wanted to.
I found an investor meeting that I'm going to be attending this Tuesday.

I have worked through most of my goals and found a great title co but still working on the attorney part. Had some great referrals including from this blog! I realized my goals were a bit vague and in the future will have more detailed items. Personally, it will help me feel like progress.
